How to Combine Old Candles #ReuseIt #HometalkEveryday

It drives me nuts when my candle wicks won't light anymore but there's still tons of wax left in the jar... so I finally figured out a super inexpensive way to use every last drop!
I had a bunch of candles that had burned through their wicks but there was still a fair amount of wax left (especially the 3 wick one!) so using a double boiler system I melted the wax down, and poured it into old jars with a new wick. See my blog post for full instructions!
The 5 used up candles (pictured above) melted down into these 3 new candles. Using old jars (an alfredo jar, jam jar, and roasted red pepper jar) meant all I had to do was buy new wicks. I found a pack of 50 on Amazon for only $10 and they work great!
This is such an easy process, that makes your house smell amazing. I'm going to do this all the time now!

Thanks for the wick buying tip!!! It's 60 miles from my house to the nearest craft store and they don't carry more than a few to a package.. -
