Hello! This is a project I saw on Pinterest, and I thought it would be fun! Drop cloths are really inexpensive. With just a little cutting, stenciling and sewing, I made some pretty and useful placemats for not much money!
I started with a regular drop cloth and some stencil brushes.I traced an old placemat onto the drop cloth and repeated the process three times. I then cut out my placemats! I pinned the edges of the placemats down about 1/2 inch around the sides and stitched my folded edges in place.
I chose pretty multi-surface paint in "school bus" yellow and "blue bird" blue.
Stenciling my placemats literally only took a few minutes!
I love how my DIY stenciled placemats came out! They are great for using out on the patio for summer entertaining!

Hi! The paints were sent to me and I got the drop cloth from either Lowe’s or Home Depot, I am not sure which.
