DIY Table Runner From Scrap Wood *Video Tutorial*
I have a friend who lives in a 1923 home and just tore out one of her walls. She had all these wood lathes that she was going to toss. Ah. Ah. Ah. <shaking finger back and forth> Not with this gal around! So I snagged it up and made this beautiful table runner!! All you need is scrap wood and some twine! That's all. I did a video tutorial to show to step-by-step how to make one for your table!!

Collect wood and cut it to the same size.
Use twine to connect pieces of wood using an over-under weave.
The twine protects your table from being scratched.
