DIY Fall Plaid Chargers

What happens when a gal can't find exactly what she is looking for? Why, she makes it herself, of course. :) See how I took a plain acrylic charger and turned it into a beautiful Fall Plaid Charger.
I started out with plain chargers I found at Hobby Lobby. They were the perfect color.
After debating on how to best add the plaid design, I decided on these Paint Pens. (FYI, I provide a link on my blog post to where you can buy these pens online.)
I used a piece of cardboard to assist me with making the lines to create the plaid design, but honestly I did not worry about getting them exactly straight.
Once I had added my plaid lines in al three colors, this is what I ended up with.
And here are my DIY Fall Plaid Chargers with my dishes on my tablescape...
I could not be happier and have a few ideas swirling around in my head for the Christmas holiday. :)
Please visit me at The Everyday Home for all of the complete details on how I achieved the plaid pattern at the link below. Please say hello while you're there!
