Check out our YouTube video for a quick and painless tutorial! You can also link over to our blog, Remodelaholic.com for more great ideas and projects.
We started with just 2 things: oil-based gold sharpies and white ceramic dishes. You could check the dollar store for dishes if you don't have something at home.
Sometimes, so get the pen working correctly, you need to depress it a few times on a sheet of paper.
For my first dish, I chose to use a pattern of lines. Here's where you can get creative! There are so many options depending on the dish you use.
On this one I just chose to do straight lines and dots. This would look amazing in other colors too, so if you don't prefer gold, try silver or even bronze.
Now, we've got to set the sharpie marks. Put your dishes on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 mins.
Here they are all done! So cute and so easy to make. If you're a gifter, these would make great containers for baking and taking treats around. What might you use them for?
