You have seen pretty patina'd metal right? Well I have been dying to try the new products out there that allow you to create pretty patina instantly and here is one of my projects using it
I had this silver raised plate that had seen better days, the filigree and cutouts are pretty and the size is great so lets make it lovely again.
I chose Modern Masters blue patina kit. It is 3 steps, the first being 2 coats of primer painted on as shown above. I used a sponge brush to apply
And this is the end result!! What do you think? I am loving the finish and see so many new uses for it. The detailed tutorial blog post is linked at the bottom
