So mason jars are some of my favorite items to use for decor! I love using items I have around the house or that I find that I can give them a new life. I love painting them or even sometimes just leaving them plain. They look super cute with cotton blossoms or flowers to be used on a shelf or as your kitchen table center piece. I use them for so many different decorations in my home.

I painted this mason jar hot pink using acrylic paint and distressed the front a bit with sandpaper.

I have many different colors of felt sheets, I use them for different craft projects all the time. I knew I wanted the heart on my mason jar to be light pink. So I carefully cut out a heart that would be large enough to cover a lot of the front of the jar.

It was the perfect size. I hot glued it on to the front.

I had red twine that I wrapped around the jar a handful of times. I hot glued the twine in place, randomly around the entire jar.

I hot glued pearl embellishments on the center of the twine and heart. I also added a piece of cream jute ribbon around the top of the jar. It looked really cute with pink roses in it. I placed it on my kitchen counter for decor and love the way it turned out.
