$1 Cheese Crate Upcycled to Adorable Lighted Jack O' Lantern - Affordable Halloween Decor in 5 Easy Steps!

I came across these wooden cheese crates a while ago. They were $1 each so I picked up a few. You can see my Fixer Upper Farmhouse Style Upcycle here.
For this project I was inspired by the upcoming Holiday to create a Lighted Jack O' Lantern with my Cheese Crate! I also wanted to keep it simple!
I chose a simple and classic Jack O' lantern face. I decided to Paint my Cheese Crate orange. After it dried, I traced the Jack O' lantern face onto the Cheese Crate lid!
Using a wood plunge attachement on my Sonicrafter, I cut out the triangles for his Eyes and Nose!
There were several options for the Jack O' Lanterns stem but what's better than the real thing?! I glued the stem to the top of the bottom segment of the cheese crate.
I decorated using Dollar Store Leaves and Lights as well as pipe cleaners! Please visit the blog post to see the Adorable completed Lighted Jack O' Lantern HERE
Thanks for looking!
