Cheesecloth Halloween Ghosts

These Cheesecloth Halloween Ghosts make for a fun project and the perfect table decor for your Halloween party! They're easy to make and the kids can even be involved in making them! Plus, they hold candy dishes for your favorite M&M's candies!
First we'll gather our supplies.
- Cheesecloth cut into squares
- Spray starch
- School glue, hot glue, or tape
- Black felt - cut into circles for mouth and eyes
- Scissors
- Tall glass or cup
- A Small balloon or another round object
- Small candy dishes (ramekins work well for this)
- Candies
Step 1
Place the balloon or other object on top of your glass and drape the cheesecloth over the glass, creating 'arms' to wrap around the candy dish.
Step 2
Set the candy dish aside. Coat the cheesecloth with several light coats of laundry spray starch, soaking the cheese cloth.
Allow to dry - or use a hair dryer to speed up the process.
Step 3
Glue or tape the felt eyes and mouth into place to create your ghostly figure!
Step 4
Make a second ghost. Alternatively, you can use stickers or cut-outs to make silly ghost faces.
Step 5
Place your Halloween Cheesecloth Ghosts on your table, fill your candy dishes and place them inside the 'arms' of the ghosts.
Wasn't that simple? A Fun and easy Halloween DIY cheesecloth ghost decor for your home. Plus, we all love Halloween candy and these serve as the perfect serving dishes for a little treat!

Have a question about this project?
After the spray starch dries, do you remove the glass and balloon for the "ghost" to stand independently? Thank you----this is so cute.
