Creative Coastal, Beach & Nautical Pumpkins & Carved Jack O Lanterns

Coastal enthusiasts celebrate Fall with Pumpkins that speak of the sea and those carefree days spent on the beach. And there is no shortage on creative ideas for coastal, beach and nautical theme pumpkins. You can paint pumpkins in a coastal theme, carve or decoupage them, cover them with beach sand, or make pumpkins from beach fabric. You will FALL in love with these pumpkin ideas!
These painted pumpkins are simply fabulous. Pumpkins painted as beach balls, or with a bold nautical motif such as an anchor. Or simply painted in a soft blue that reminds of the sea. You can paint faux pumpkins (that you can find in your local crafts store or online) to make them last for years to come!
Pumpkins carved in a coastal, beach and nautical theme, featuring sea life, waves and anchor. These pumpkins are carved with the top layer coming off only. They have a hole on the button so you can light them up with a faux candle light.
I think these sand pumpkins are the ultimate pumpkins for those who love the feeling of sand between toes which I dearly miss here in NYC. To make this project real simple, use mini pumpkins!
I love the glow of candles no matter what the season. So this beach pumpkin candle holder idea is right up my alley. What a great table centerpiece! What makes this beachy is the sand used as the filling for the glass candle holder and the grasses. Then add beach finds to your liking!
Or how about cozy cushy beach fabric pumpkins? The soft blue fabric depicts the sea, and further, you can decorate them in a beach theme by adding a driftwood stem or tie on a shell or a tag as you see in this picture.
