DIY Centerpiece Thanksgiving Tree Craft

-
Make this easy, no-glue DIY centerpiece Thanksgiving tree craft with your kids using materials from your backyard.
Happy fall ya’ll! This is my favorite time of year in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The cool breeze with a hint of moisture in the air blended with the aroma of freshly cut grass – you can almost smell the leaves changing colors.
This DIY Thanksgiving tree craft is a lovely way to spend time together as a family, practice gratitude, and make a beautiful, budget-friendly centerpiece for your table this fall.
- Scissors
- 1 Bundle Sticks
- 1 Bunch Leaves
- Twine

Make sure not to break the twigs until you know which vase you are using. Leave half the length of the twigs sticking out of the top and arrange accordingly.
Be specific. Yes, I am grateful for hope. I am also grateful for coffee and pivoting toilet paper holders. Learn to be specific when you practice gratitude and learn to count your many blessings even in the smallest of details.
Permanent markers will not work for these leaves. You must use this Permanent Chalk Marker.
You will need approximately 6″ of twine or string for each leaf.
Consider wrapping the twine around the vase to create an extra fall touch. Cut to length and tie in the back.
Any extra leaves that don’t have a stem can be dropped into the vase for added color.
