Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!

With Valentine’s Day just a couple of weeks away, I thought it would be fun to share a simple valentine DIY.

What you’ll need:

• Air dry clay

• rolling pin

• heart shaped cookie cutter

• gold paint

• fresh/faux flowers

• ribbon/lace/yarn/etc.

Roll your clay out

Then gently roll the flowers into the clay.

carefully lift the flowers out of the clay and cut it into heart shapes

Using a straw, cut a small hole at the top of each heart

Place on a flat surface to dry.

Once dry you can leave as is, or add a little paint to the flower imprints. I added gold plant paint.

Place yarn/ribbon/lace/etc. through the hole and hang on some branches, tie to a gift, or place anywhere you think would be cute.

I love the simple touch of gold in the whimsy imprints of the flowers. There are so many projects that you could do with air dry clay throughout the year. I’m excited to experiment with air-dry clay and see what I can come up with!

I hope you enjoyed this fun yet simple DIY!! Wishing you all a very wonderful day!
