DIY Spell Book for Party Tablescape

Having a Disney's Descendants movie watching party or a Witching Halloween party? One super easy decoration you can make is your own spell book! This one is open to a page for the Evil Queen's Poison Apple!
Get a hardback book from your pile to donate or the dollar store. I paid a buck for this one.
To make the book look well used, take a spray bottle and spray the pages as you flip them over and over. Make sure to go around the entire book.
Here's a quick little video to see how I fluff the pages. I find drying them with a hair dryer helps them fluff up even more.
Use inking pads in brown and black to go around the edges of the book pages to make them look old.
Next, download my FREE printable spell pages, print them off, and cut them out. Depending on the size of your book, you made need to resize them. Make sure to age them as well using the ink pads around the edges.
Now it's time for the mod podge. You'll mod podge the pages before laying down the printables. Then, mod podge over the printables.
Here's the completed look. I used it as a prop on our Disney's Descendants movie watching party. For more tips and tricks to making the spell book, visit the blog post!
