With just a few items from the dollar store, you can make this fun and easy DIY heart night light. You can see more of my crazy creations here

I started with a styrofoam circle from the dollar store. I drew on a heart shape and poked holes through the Styrofoam with a screw driver.

I placed some lights through the Styrofoam, I recommend using LED lights if possible.

I tore several small pieces of tissue paper. I wrapped it around the end of a pencil and added a dab of hot glue.

I pressed the tissue paper with the hot glue onto the styrofoam. I continued doing this until the top side of the styrofoam was full.

Here's what it looked like after it was completed.

I placed the styrofoam end in a bowel. Doesn't it look like a flower?

I plugged it in and it makes a cute night light. You could easily use battery operated lights instead so you wouldn't have a cord.
