Rustic Candy Corn String Art

Halloween is just around the corner! Need a fun craft to prepare for the holiday? This one is fun and EASY!
Here is what you'll need. Candy corn printable (free on our blog), small pallet, paint, crochet string in white, yellow, orange, and nails. Don't forget the hammer!
Center your printable and begin nailing the nails about 1/4" apart. This will seem tedious, but will be worth it in the end.
Once all the nails are in, rip the paper off. You will want to do this gently, so to not rip off any nails.
I started with the bottom of the candy corn. First tie a knot, and begin stringing the string from nail to nail. I had no pattern, just make sure as you apply more and more string that you push the string down.
Here is what is should look like for each color. This part was fun, and if you gather a few friends together, could go by quickly while chatting!
Here is the finished product. You can set this on your mantel or in a niche. I have it on my entry table when you walk in my house. I love it!
