Learn how to make an awesome Halloween Wreath! Follow the LIVE tutorial Friday, September 1st, at 3 pm EST to learn how to make it.
Picture will be posted upon completion of LIVE tutorial.
Materials;
1 18" Grapevine Wreath ( Craft Stores, Walmart)
1- Krylon Spray Paint indoor/Outdoor Flat black
1- Halloween Sign ( Orange Happy Halloween Michaels)
3 Black Floral sprays ( Orange, Purple, Green Michaels)
3 Ficus Sprays ( Hobby Lobby)
Ribbon ( Optional)
Decorations ( Optional)
Hot glue, pipe cleaners, and a staple gun are also recommended.
Lets get started!
Begin by spray painting your grapevine wreath black, along with the ficus stems. Make sure you completely cover them with paint.
We will be working only with half the wreath, while the other half remains visible.
Attach three pipe cleaners with the staple gun to the back of the sign. Apply dabs of hot glue to the back of staples for extra reinforcement.
Next, divide your floral sprays into individual pieces. I cut off each stem from the three bushes, and cut the ficus branches into thirds.
Feed your pipe cleaners on the signthrough the grapevine and secure tightly onto one side. Then begin placing your florals and ficus stems evenly around the sign. You can either incorporate them around the entire wreath, or just one half of it.
Add any final embellishments, and voila! A gorgeous wreath!
