What could be more Valentine than hearts? How about if we add a little glitter and love?

This project takes a rustic metal heart and with the addition of some glitter and resin, it becomes a little glam, while still keeping a little rustic charm!

Run a bead of clear drying glue at the seam. If there is a little space that open, the resin will find it and run right through! Make sure you seal the seam, even if you don't see any openings!

Mix your resin and chunky red glitter.

Pour it into your metal heart.

Use a lighter to pop the bubbles.

Once cured, decorate it. I used a wooded with, some half pearls and foil lips. Glue it all into place.

Mix more glitter and this time don't add anything. You want it to stay clear. You are just making sure your decorations become one with the piece.

Pop the bubbles and let it cure.

My heart happened to be two sided. If you don't have a two sided heart, you don't have to worry about the back side. I did, so I flipped it over.

I made sure it was level.

I repeated the process. I added the red glitter and resin and let it cure. This time I used a metal heart and love to decorate. I poured more resin.

Once fined, you can hang it or you can just set in on a shelf or mantel for decor!
