I was thrilled when my friend Melanie invited me to be a part of the Popcorn Box Challenge, hosted by Laura Kelly Designs and sponsored by World Market. I love Halloween, so I was definitely excited to see what I could come up with! I kicked around several ideas, but once I got my package and saw the striped paper and spider brad, I knew what I had to do!
The items I received in my package from Laura were:
I painted the box white with two coats of Rust-Oleum gloss enamel. I then traced the eyes and mouth onto the box, then cut them out using a razor knife.
I used a pencil to draw the bow tie design on the backside of the AdornIt paper and then cut it out.
I added the spider brad and used a bit of super glue to affix it to the box.
I added a flameless candle tealight and put it out on my porch to welcome Trick-or-Treaters!
