Make Fun Glasses for New Years & Toast Your Resolutions!

This year for New Years I wanted to make my resolutions center stage. I thought it would be really fun for everyone to toast their resolutions in glasses that say what their resolutions are.
Step 1: Gather your materials
I used cheap Dollar Store glasses, painters tape, letter/number stickers and frosted spray paint. The frosted spray paint makes the glass look etched. If you want to make this project permanent, use etching cream instead of frosted spray paint. Because I only want mine for this New Years, I'm doing a non-permanent etching.
Step 2: Add stickers to your glasses
On this glass, I used my bigger stickers to spell out 2017.
Frosting spray is not food safe, so I put a piece of tape around the rim so that I wouldn't get spray on the spot where people would be drinking from.
Step 3: Spray the glass
All it took was one quick spray of the frosting spray to get my design on the glass. Right after spraying, I couldn't see design. It kind of appeared as the paint dried. As with all stencils and painter's tape, I quickly peeled off the stickers while the spray was still wet. I used a toothpick to get the little letters up without ruining the paint job. Then, I let it dry for about half an hour. It was cool to watch the frosting appear.
When they were all ready to go, I filled up my glasses so they were ready to toast all of the New Years resolutions!
Hopefully I'll have to redo these next year, because all of these resolutions will be accomplished!
