Halloween is my fav holiday, so I actually pick out certain decorations, and leave them out year round. I'm not talking the styrofoam graves, but the cute candy dishes, etc. -

You can easily make witch themed apothecary jars. Save old jars and bottles, clean them and remove labels, then write a label of your own that sounds like a potion. You can write labels like: love potion, snake venom or unicorn tears. If the bottles are clear, you can paint them in Halloween colors. For added effect, tie jute or hemp string around the bottle. A collection of these makes a great decoration. -

use the foam pumpkins that everyone sells in the fall...carve them like real jack-o-lanterns and then they will last forever.
