Repurposed "Give Thanks" Pumpkin

by Lindsay Eidahl
(IC: blogger)
We had this broken trellis in our backyard for some time. The weathered wood on it was perfect so I decided to repurpose it into something for the season.
I lined up the trellis pieces and traced a pumpkin shape on them. Then, I cut the pumpkin out with a jigsaw.
We added a stand to the back with a hinge so it would sit on a table good.
I used some stencils from Hazel and Ruby to write the words "Give Thanks" on it. I painted the letters in with white paint.
The patina this pumpkin has is perfection!!! I love that I was able to repurpose that old trellis.
