Salt Dough Thumbprint Heart

A super simple and super cute craft for Valentines or Mothers Day. Use salt dough clay and a thumb to create an adorable pendant.
First start by making salt dough with 1 part salt, 1 part flour, and 2 parts warm water (if you want clearer measurements, click through to my blog). You'll need to knead your dough until it's smooth.
Roll the dough out, then cut with a heart cookie cutter.
Now get your little one to press their thumbs into the sides of the heart. Once that's done, you'll bake your hearts at 250 degrees for 2-3 hours, or until they feel hard to the touch.
