All you need to create this adorable small star wreath is $2 and a few minutes! Keep reading for the easy step-by-step tutorial.

This is another super easy and fun DIY that only requires a few extra minutes to make. Plus, it also only cost me $1 to make since I only needed the wreath. But, if you need to buy the wreath and the wall hanging, it’s still only $2!

For this project, you'll need a patriotic wall hanging from Dollar Tree

And a wooden wreath from Dollar Tree.

Step 1

Remove all the stars from the patriotic star wall hanging. You’re just going to need the burlap piece for this step. Save the bow for later!

Step 2

Lay the burlap flat and place the wreath on top of it. Bring both sides of the burlap up and around the wreath and hot glue them down. Cut off any excess.

Step 3

Flip the wreath over and glue one of the stars to the center of the burlap with hot glue.

I also glued some of the edges of the star down so that it would lay flat against the wreath. Otherwise, it kept falling over and looking all crazy.

Step 4

Now you’re going to need the bow that you saved from step 1. Remove the burlap bow from the top of the burlap. The bow is glued on so I had to just cut it off around the glue.

Use hot-glue to glue the bow to the star.

That's it! Now all you need to do is hang your star wreath or sit it on a window sill or on a shelf!
