Want to make one for yourself? Good, let's proceed!
These handy little storage baskets are always good to have. You can use them to store tiny supplies in your craft room or to find a nice place for those crayons and pencils in your child's room. Use them as cute Valentines decor on your kitchen counter or wherever you need to store little items.
What you'll need are a few rectangle pieces (dimensions inf the blog post) and an optional hanging strap piece.
You'll start with a straight stitch, sewing the lining and the outer piece right sides together.
Then you place the sewn piece face-up on the sewing table. Then fold it once again, right sides together, but this time putting both outer fabric fold onto itself, and lining folding onto itself, as shown in the photo.
Then I turned it right side out, and tucked the lining in. What you can't see is that I also added a practical hanging strap. It's not necessary, but it increases the ways you can use this cute little bin. Click through to the blog to get the step-by-step instructions - is an additional how-to you can get for free. You'll learn how to add a hanging strap to any bin or basket. Very practical!
The next step is boxing the corners. Even easier than it looks like!
