I hope you didn't throw away those old calendars yet! You can create gift tags to use throughout the year with the lovely images on calendars, saving some paper and money in the process. You probably have everything you need at home already.

This is a great idea. I have purchased the Boyds Bear calendars for several years ( I am a bear collector) I cut out the images on the back page.....It shows all the months on the back. I cut them out, attach them to magnetic vinyl and us them as magnets on the fridge for "notes to myself". Each picture is the month on the calendar so I can change them out. I have also given them away as a little something extra in the gift bag or box.

For years I have used last years Christmas cards for name tags, usually trying to "match" the card images to either the paper or the recipient. Also a quick reflection on last years messages.
