Making a No Sew Quilted Christmas Ornament isn’t difficult, but it does involve a lot of steps! Have a look at how you can make one, too! The best part is that depending upon the fabric you choose, they can be made to match any Christmas decor.
There are a lot of steps in making a no sew quilted ornament, but it’s not difficult at all to make them. There are a few different ways to make them. This is the pattern that I liked best.
To make a no sew quilted ornament, you'll need three fabric colors, cut into squares. Layer the squares in a particular pattern and use straight pins to hold the fabric in place.
Alternate fabric colors and position the different colors to coordinate
Once one side is completed, you'll follow the same pattern for the other side. A strip of fabric is placed around the ornament to cover the raw edges of the fabric.
I have a complete step by step guide on the blog. Please visit the link below to see the details on making a no sew quilted ornament.
Depending on your fabric choices, these can be made to match any decor themes. I made a burgundy and green one also. It has a slightly different pattern than the red and green one. It has one less layer.
I've seen these for years, but never tried to make one until now. The really are simple once you get started.

I don’t know if my question showed up here already, but, for 2 inch styrofoam balls, do you cut 2 inch fabric squares? Plus, when doing 2nd layer, do you stagger the fabric pieces after putting the first 4 on, or are they all the same height? Hope that makes sense.
