This Tissue Paper Banner is put together using tissue paper to make tassels. Run them through twine and you have an adorable party banner!
Use tissue paper to coordinate with your party theme. Use one color or use two to three colors of tissue paper to really make your banner stand out
It's so easy even kids can make one for their birthday party.
You just fold the tissue paper in half then cut in strips.
Then you will fold the strips in half to create a loop. You will tie the loop with wire or smaller ribbon. I used smaller ribbon that matched the tissue paper.
You can secure the loop with wire, ribbon, yarn, fishing line, or string. After all the strips have loops at the top, I like to make sure all my strips are even. Line them up next to each other to make sure they are even, cut an necessary scraggly ends off.
After loops have been made in all your strips you will run the loops through twine. I used twine because I like the rustic look but again you can use yarn, fishing line, ribbon, or string.
To hang the banner you can secure the ends to the wall with thumbtacks or tape.
