As a designer I like nice simple decor ideas for the holiday. What’s your best of favorite projects for you favorite Holidays

Wreaths! I have several forms and make or remake for each holiday, season or on a whim. I do not have room to store dozens of wreaths, so I make them so that they can easily be dismantled and start over.

One year I decided to decorate my d.r. for the Snow Queens Christmas. I just did it for my own enjoyment. I like to do mantelpieces and table settings. (actually I like to do it all) The mantelpiece shown here was many years ago when my daughter was still in college. She and her roommate had gone to the late church service and I was still working on sewing their stockings, then the next morning my husband forgot that the roommate had to catch a flight that would connect with hers to Greece! that was quite a rush! We don't spend Xmas in our own house any more so decorations are at a minimum. But there are still 364 other days to decorate!

I don’t decorate too much anymore but the cinder block thing is cool. Specially, with poor porch pirates. I’d love to see them twisted pain when picking up cinderblocks. 🤷‍♂️🎄
