Big Balloon and a Floral Garland for Spring

Some ideas are so darn simple, I'm amazed I haven't thought of them before. This definitely qualifies as one of those. I love those great big balloons, staples of the party world, but I wanted a little something more for some spring photos.
Normal sized balloons can't hold much weight at all, but these great big balloons really can! So why not take advantage of that and let the balloons do some lifting?
I bought an inexpensive floral garland at my local craft store, and tied it to the balloon. I could have used it to replace the ribbon entirely, but I decided to leave the ribbon on, too, for extra security and peace of mind.
The balloon was absolutely perfect for the party, and these are some of my favorite photos of my daughter. Funny how something so simple as adding an artificial flower garland made such a difference!
