Dollar Store Christmas Snowmen

I truly believe that you do not have to spend a lot of money for fun and festive decor. The other day, I found some great styrofoam craft supplies at the dollar store. All the balls made me think of snow and snowmen and I knew I had to create these!
Here are the supplies that I bought. (Click on the link below for a full list of supplies and a few extra tricks to make these stand up without assistance!)
For the hat, I took an empty take out condiment container and glued it to cardstock.
I covered the hat with glitter and glue and used a toothpick to attach it to the snowman's head.
As you can see I used simple supplies, like buttons, beads, ribbon, glitter and glue - you can use whatever you have on hand or, like me, you can run to the dollar store and pick some up cheap. I think these two will look cute on a mantel, don't you?
