Happy end of July, where has this month gone...

I have missed making a wreath with you! So today let's have some fun with this pretty project and make an impromptu Fresh Floral Summer wreath. It's easy, economical and pretty. It seriously makes me sad to see these flowers blooming in the blazing Texas sun without being clipped daily and saved from the heat.

This really began as an experimental wreath icon

and the supplies are minimal, so if you are searching for a creative way to add flowers to a certain space, a party, or brighten up the patio for a few hours this project is perfect.

However if you are needing your wreath to last longer using Water tubes will do the trick. They come in various sizes and colors too.

I began this project by clipping an assorted mix of zinnias from our flower garden. Stripping the leaves and then cutting them once again to the desired length that I needed for them to be tucked into the weave of the grapevine wreath.

The leftover zinnias I put in a mason jar on our patio table.
