I have made some from styrofoam pumpkins, a straw hat painted white then add a face and hat on the "head" part of the hat, splatter screens that I painted white, Dollar Tree had quite a few pumpkins that were flat wooden or you could use the wooden rounds - just flip over and glue them together, varying sizes of fish bowl or small globes, slices of a tree, styrofoam balls, rectangular wood that you paint white/add a hat & scarf & face, and one of my all time favorites is when the kids made them out of tube socks.
