If you're looking for a fun new tablecloth. Don't run to the store. Run to your closet! I recently used a blanket scarf on my table and it turned out lovely. Let me show you how!

Begin by placing a blanket scarf on the table.

Next place some bottle brush trees in the center of the table and then sprinkle some snow around the trees.

Now set the table by placing white chargers at each place setting followed by stacking a plate on the chargers and a smaller decorative plate on the plate.

It's time to put glasses to the right of your place setting.

Add the silverware to the table and I also had candles with clips that they sat in that I clipped onto the chargers for a little more winter decor.

I also scattered these miniature snowflake ornaments around the table. You can personalize your tablescape with items you already have around the house. The possibilities are endless.

Here is a close up of what a place setting looks like. This winter themed tablescape was so fun and easy to create and using a blanket scarf that I already had in place of a tablecloth was fun and free!If you'd like to see more tablescapes that I've done on my blog click here or here. I hope you enjoy a good dinner party and making your table pretty like I do! Remember to have fun and use things already around your home.
