Chicken Wire and Pine Cone Fall Wreath

With the first nip in the air, I decided to create an outdoor fall wreath to be displayed on the side of our home. I used chicken wire and pine cones that would withstand the elements. It's been raining for days now and the wreath looks as good as ever! Come along and see how I made it and get 31 other ideas for your fall decorating on the Fall Ideas Tour!
We attached a painted piece of chicken wire to the top of a wooden board made from slats.
I twisted the chicken wire and dropped in pine cones and my husband stapled it as we formed a circle for the wreath.
We had to make a few adjustments to ensure that we had a good circle.
Lastly, I added a bow and some fall florals to complete the wreath.
The wreath makes a great welcoming statement when guests come to the back door of our home!

What is the paint brand and color? I really like it!
