Cottage Farmhouse Style Christmas Wreath, Dollar Store Craft

This is such a cute wreath and so easy to make. It will surprise you what it is made of. Go to your local dollar store and pick up 3 duster mop heads and the foam wreath form they carry. My embellishments came from Hobby Lobby and Walmart but you could pick up some adorable items at the dollar store too. I just had these things on hand already. You fold the dust mops around the wreath form and hot glue. I cut my third one to make it fit but I don't think you would need too. It does unravel quite a bit if you cut it so beware. Be sure and glue the backs too of the mop heads. Then you are ready to embellish the wreath the way that you would want too. I had this adorable truck from the Walmart Christmas area I think it was $2.48, I already had the wood bead ribbon from Hobby Lobby. I wrapped the ribbon around the wreath and hot glued it. I hot glued the truck onto the bottom inside of the wreath. I then made a bow from some torn muslin fabric and some other fabric I had that matched the truck. I added a rinestone brooch I had in my stash to the middle of the bow for some sparkle.
Turned out so cute.
Here a some supplies, I ddint end up using the tree but think I will on another one I make.
Wrap your mop head around the wreath and glue from both sides.
Continue until you cover the form.
It looks so pretty as is too.
I decided to wrap my wood bead ribbon around it.
I added a jute hanger on the back and hot glued it on.
I glued this cute truck on the inside of the wreath.
Then I added my bows and jewelry.
