I love making wreaths from all different wreaths from different kinds of materials for different celebrations and seasons. This Fall Wreath is my latest creation! It was very easy to make, under $20.00 and I love how it turned out.
I made this fall wreath using two of my favourite materials.
I love working with deco mesh because it can be easily stretched, pulled, twisted and fluffed up. I also love working with wired ribbon, especially the sheer kind because it is easy to manipulate, shape and style while adding a pop of colour to your wreath!
Making a wreath with deco mesh is even easier with a wire frame that comes with attached ties.
I used about 16 feet (5 m) of 12-inch (30 cm) wide orange deco mesh. I wrapped this around the wreath frame three times.

Then I used about 7 feet (2.5 m) of brown metallic wired ribbon that I pulled in an out of the deco mesh around the wreath.
Just to make sure things stayed secure I used a slipstitch to attach the deco mesh and ribbon about several times in various places around the wreath using a matching colour of thread so it was hidden.
The final thing to do was add a bow made from a coordinating coloured ribbon to the top of the fall wreath.

I like the simplicity of this wreath. I didn't add any other embellishments because I felt the deco mesh and ribbon added just the right amount of texture, interest and of course sparkle!
