My daughter has an awesome pink Christmas tree for her playroom that we’ve decorated with teal, lime green and silver. This year she asked why she didn’t have a wreath too. We looked everywhere for a pink wreath but weren’t able to find one. I had a lot of pink and purple material left over from making her a tutu last year and decided to see what I could do with it. For this project I used a wire hanger because my local car aft store and dollar tree were sold out of the smaller wreath forms. Apparently everyone in town is making their own Christmas wreath this year!
Her pink tree that was our inspiration
the finished wreath. The whole thing is lit even though with the way the sun is shining makes it look like it’s not.
The one of material I had just packed away for the last year. We ar clearing out closets and I stumbled cross it. Score!
After I made the wreath which was super easy and quick. I just knotted the material around a clothes hanger that I shaped into some sort of circle. It’s not completely round but close enough. I glued some ornaments on it left over from her tree.
them I wrapped lights around it. They are battery operated and I picked them up from the Dollar tree last year. I got glued the battery packs to the ornaments and the material. Hopefully that will keep them in place.

To finish it up, I made a bow out of left over purple ribbon that was also from the tutu I made last year. I got glued the bow on and then wrapped the hanger hook in ribbon as well. She’s estatic with the wreath for her playroom and I’m happy that it does don’t cost me anything but a little time to make her some extra decorations.
This is the tutu that all the material was lef over from
