I found a grapevine wreath and a shabby rag valentines garland at my local thrift store for $2 each. I wanted to make a small wreath to go on my fireplace mantel for Valentines Day.
Here is the rag garland! I don’t think it had ever been used

I cut pieces of the garland to use for my wreath. This can be done randomlay until you have enough pieces to cover your wreath. I then used my glue gun and glued the pieces I had cut to the wreath, again, this can be done randomly in any shape, order that you are happy with!
I purchased a small wooden heart applique and painted it white, and then stenciled the word “love” with red paint onto the heart. I then added a few polka dots in red to make is pop! I hot glued it to the top of my wreath.
I think it turned out beautifully. Would make an awesome gift too!
