Duct Tape Christmas Trees

Easy
I used regular black and white duct tape with cardboard tree forms to create a fun new holiday decoration!
I bought the tree forms at my local craft store for half off. I used 1 black and 1 white roll of duct tape and had a little extra after completing both of the trees.
I started by tearing 3 inch strips of tape and then folded the strip back on itself to get narrow strips with color facing out on both sides. Then, I hot glued the ends together to get lots of little loops. I glued the ends of the loops around the tree starting at the bottom. I alternated every other color on one tree and then alternated rows of color on the smaller tree.
This was super easy, but definitely took some time with all that tape tearing and folding. Pop in a good holiday movie while tackling this project and the time will fly.

Have a question about this project?
how did you get the duct tape not to stick in the loop part of it? It sticks together when I am working with it.
