How to make a Christmas room spray recipe. This natural recipe has essential oils to scent your home naturally. Use to freshen any room or even spray your tree.
This is a simple recipe with just two ingredients plus the essential oils. I use vodka to make my sprays. Rubbing alcohol can irritate your lungs and cause breathing problems, so use a high proof vodka instead.
I used the Winter Spice essential oil blend from Simply Earth. I also have 15 other Christmas essential oil blends and a printable label in my original post, so be sure to check it out.
You'll need:
- 1 ounce water
- 1 tablespoon vodka
- 15 drops essential oils
- 2 ounce spray bottle
Place the vodka and the essential oils in the container. The vodka helps the oils disperse in the water, so I like to mix the alcohol and oils together first.
Then add the water. Place the cap on and shake gently to combine.
To use, spray in the center of the room. You'll only need 1 or 2 sprays for a small or medium sized room.Always use essential oils carefully. Some oils can't be used around pets or children, so always use safe oils if there will be kids or pets around.
