This simple Christmas Garland was made with supplies from the Dollar Tree, and it only cost $7 to make!
The first thing you'll need to do is gather your supplies. These can be purchased at the Dollar Tree, either in store or online!
SUPPLIES LIST:
- 2 15 ft. long garlands
- 2 poinsettia flower clips
- 2 small bell strands
- 1 large bell
- Hammer + nails for hanging the garland
These poinsettia flower clips are so easy to use.
You can seriously stick them on any wreath or garland in just a few seconds!
And this is the bell I picked up that is going to be the centerpiece of the garland.
Thankfully, it already has a loop of garland attached to the top of it, which is very helpful!

This video goes over all the steps I took to make this Christmas garland.
But if you'd like written out instructions, I've included the summarized versions of them below.
And if you want even more in-depth instructions, then please feel free to visit my blog post here!
STEPS TO MAKE THE CHRISTMAS GARLAND:
- Cut both garlands in half, and then twist the four strands of garland together to create one thicker strand of garland.
- Slide the bell onto the garland until it gets to the middle.
- Shape the garland however you would like to. Because I don't have a fireplace mantel, I'm going to be hanging this on the wall. So I had to shape it with four points and three loops, so it would hang well over the four screws I have on the wall of my dining room.
- Wrap the bell strands around the garland.
- Clip the poinsettia flowers on the garland.
- Hang the garland on the wall and admire your handiwork!
This is how the garland turned out in the end.
I absolutely love it!
I think it is so festive, and I love how it looks above my dining table!
