Giant Gnome Christmas Tree

I'm so excited to share how I turned my 9 foot Christmas tree into a giant gnome. You could adapt this for any size tree. You can see more of my crazy creations here

I started by placing a blanket at the top of my tree. This will become the gnome hat. You could cut your hat and hot glue it, or I just wrapped my blanket around my tree so that after the season was done, I could use my blanket again.

I added Dollar Tree oven mittens to the sides to represent hands.

I placed a large-sized gold bulb under the hat to be the nose of my gnome.

I cut a mop in half with my fabric scissors.

I tied the two halves together in the middle, and I pulled out two strands on either end and made a loop so that I could hang this on the tree as well.

I added the mop onto the tree to become my gnome's beard.

I placed my snow boots at the bottom to represent my gnome's feet.

We love how it turned out and you could do this to a pine tree outside in your yard as well.
