Looking to make a Christmas Tree Skirt

You could decorate a canvas tarp, that would hold up to any weather you have, at least you won't have to take snow off it. You could use burlap or anything that will hold up to the weather and sun that won't bleach out too much. I really wish I still lived in Texas right now. Mid sixties on Monday, twenties yesterday and teens today with snow on the way, again! Blustery winds will be around for days. Lived in Galveston for five years in the eighties.Helpful Reply -

Hi Mary -Perhaps a painters drop cloth, the real canvas fabric texture type. There is one brand that comes in an oblong shape that could be wrapped around the tree - for around $20. You might need two depending on how big your tree is. You could also add a pretty ribbon to the outside edge or really any type decor...like glueing on poinsettas.Helpful Reply -

You could use burlap. It would allow the rain/snow to go through. It can be painted or decorated as you wish. It's sold in large rolls for erosion issues.Helpful Reply -

The canvas painters tarp could easily be cut into a circle, it could be painted, stenciled, to suit your decorations theme...Helpful Reply -
