Hi, want to make 3 wise men from burlap any ideas?

wonder if I can use receipe for paper mache. Use large juice bottle for body and make a head then drape with burlap & stiffen them?

I’ve recently discovered that both white glue or Modpodge nicely stiffens burlap. I’m going to use it to make ribbon banners. Coincidentally yesterdays project was remouting my Three Kings/Wise Men Epiphany house blessing.
It does have a glassy finish to the side you apply the Mod podge to —they do have Matte March podge to consider from. If you’re painting them it shouldn’t matter. Something to consider for your project with use of milk cartons or soda bottle for support.

Perhaps use a liter bottle as the base, maybe fill with sand to make stable then go from there. Thinking you could add a wooden head that would look nice with the burlap. I might go soft with the burlap and drape in layers. You could do a combo of colors which would look neat too.
