How to Make Wood Bead Garland With Tassel | Modern Farmhouse Decor

In today's video, we will be making this simple wooden bead with tassel for a modern farmhouse look. These beads can be hung from a bottle, laid on a table, draped across a set of books, the choice for displaying are endless.

Step 1. String Beads


I used some jewelry string to string all the beads together. This worked better than twine because it didn't unravel like twine does.

Step 2. Crimp the String of Beads


I used a jewelry crimper and crimped the 2 ends of the string together.

Step 3. Create Tassel


I used my hand and wrapped the string around my fingers until the tassel was the thickness I wanted.

Step 4. Attach Tassel to String of Beads


This was the tricky part.


I pull the tied ends of the tassel up thru a cone shape and then tied them to the string of beads.
