Jar Lids Make the Cutest Fall Decor Item

Fall is such a beautiful time of year, and it’s just around the corner. It’s full of amazing colors, and cute decor. So what Better time then now, to take you along with me for a super simple DIY.
All you need to do is round up some old jar lids and you are almost set.
Follow along with me and let’s make some cute pumpkins.
- 20 jar lids
- painters tape
- orange spray paint
- 12” tip tie
- stem
- piece of burlap
- fake leaf cut off
- hot glue gun
(in the photo it shows sparkle paint but I didn’t end up using it)
Stack all the jar lids and secure with the zip tie. Place the stem
in the centre and form into a circle. Secure zip tie tight and cut the end off with scissors.
Use painters tape to tape off the stem so when you spray paint the lids the stem is protected.
Spray the pumpkin with a few light coats of paint. Allow to dry fully and remove the painters tape from the stem.
Use your hot glue gun to secure burlap piece around the stem as well as the greenery cut off.
Stand back and admire your new cute fall pumpkin.
Honestly, this is one of the easiest DIYs I have ever done. No tools required, which I love. Anyone can make these pumpkins.
be sure to follow along with me on INSTAGRAM. As well on here, Hometalk and Pinterest.
I cannot wait for our next DIY together.

Adorable, you could use all sizes of jar rings to make a whole pumpkin patch. I love it!

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
Is there a reason that you painted the rings after you put them together ? I was thinking it might be easier if they were already painted so you didn't have to tape off the stem but i could definitely be missing something.
thank YOU
How do you get the rings to stay separated so evenly?
What size jar lids??
