Big Glam Resin Gem Paperweight DIY

4 Materials
12 Hours

Glam up your desk with the big DIY resin gem! It's really easy to make! For full directions, materials and video tutorial, go to my blog post: Resin is such a fun medium to work with and the projects turn out beautifully!

I found this big gem silicone mold online and thought it would make a beautiful paperweight. I mixed the resin, according to the package directions.

I mixed pigment powder into the resin.

I made sure to mix it well.

I poured the resin mixture into the mold.

I took my lighter and popped the bubbles. You will want to go back a couple of times and pop the bubbles again. I let it cure a minimum of 12 hours.

Once cured, I removed it from the mold.

Now I have this beautiful resin gem. The metallic pigment powders give it extra depth. It is super glam!

That's it! Remember: Life's to short not to shimmer, so grab your glue gun and your glitter!™ Stay safe!
