Cute Nautical Lamp

Wanted a cute lamp for the kids bunk house at the lake. Found this at Goodwill for $4.99. The shade was already perfect I just needed to redo the lamp to make it like I wanted.

This is the finished version. Wrapped in rope (I used my handy glue gun to attach row by row) I had previously purchased for another project from Home Depot on a roll.
After completed.
Sprayed the bottom and the very top with Navy blue paint. The anchor was purchased at Michaels for .29. That was sprayed navy blue to match the base. Then I used some jute twine to attach it under a row of rope.
