This is an easy project anyone can do! Jazz up your lampshade by adding geometric shapes with painters tape!
Learn how to make this gold geometric lampshade!
Here is the lampshade and base before! Pretty simple nothing magical about it:0)
First I took the lampshade and added some painters tape in a random pattern making sure to connect some of the ends with beginnings and crossing over some of the tape.
Then I added some Metallic Paint by Martha Stewart with an artist brush. After a few minutes I removed the tape and let it sit! Then I roughed it up with sandpaper.
I also ended up painting the base a bright pink!
I think it looks wonderful in my little gold confetti corner!
