DIY Wine Box Tote

My friend was selling this Rothschild wine box at his garage sale. Luckily I got a sneak preview and snapped it up quickly. Then I had to come up with a way to use it.
Adding simple rope handles turns it into a useful wine box tote.
Start by measuring measuring the centre of the box and marking your drill marks about 2" from there.
Make sure you drill holes big enough to accommodate the rope - I used a 1/4" sisal rope, so used a 5/16" drill bit.
Thread the rope through the holes and tie a knot - pull tightly to secure it.
Fill your tote with wine, glasses, some flowers and you've got an instant picnic. Now where's the bread and cheese?
